Older adults have the highest rate of suicide among all age groups in the United States according to recent data. This skills-based QPR training program is designed enable those who live and work with older adults to recognize suicide warning signs and clues, and respond effectively.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Location: Training will be live and held virtually on Zoom. You will receive the Zoom meeting information after you register 2-3 days before the training.

Safety: QPR teaches a specific suicide prevention first aid intervention. Some of the content of the curriculum may activate troubling feelings and thoughts. The class is not a form of counseling, therapy, or support group. It is up to your discretion to decide whether attending QPR training is ok for you at this time.
