Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed for adults who regularly interact with young people.

The class teaches parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, social service/faith/community staff, volunteers, and other caring community members, on how to support a young person (ages 12-18) experiencing a mental health issue, addictions challenge, and/or a crisis.

The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth and provides a 5-step Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE) for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

***In addition to the confirmation email, you will receive another email about 1 week prior to the training date with additional info and Pre-Work instructions. ***
