QPR training is a suicide‑prevention program that teaches three core skills—Question, Persuade, Refer—to help individuals recognize warning signs and connect someone at risk with professional help. It is designed for anyone who may encounter people in crisis, including teachers, coworkers, first responders, and community members.

KEY COMPONENTS COVERED IN TRAINING:

  • How to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal

  • How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide

  • The common causes of suicidal behavior

  • The warning signs of suicide

  • How to get help for someone in crisis
