DESCRIPTION:Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed for adults who regula
 rly interact with young people.\n\nThe class teaches parents\, family memb
 ers\, caregivers\, teachers\, school staff\, peers\, neighbors\, social se
 rvice/faith/community staff\, volunteers\, and other caring community memb
 ers\, on how to support a young person (ages 12-18) experiencing a mental 
 health issue\, addictions challenge\, and/or a crisis.\n\nThe course intro
 duces common mental health challenges for youth and provides a 5-step Ment
 al Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE) for how to help young people in bo
 th crisis and non-crisis situations.\n\n***In addition to the confirmation
