 ersion of QPR- Question\, Persuade and Refer Suicide Prevention First Aid
  Training. In order to take this live\, online training\, you will need a

 he class\, please test your technology.   Test it at least 30 minutes pr
 ior to the class.   You will need a computer with a web cam or a smart/a

 are permitted to hold sessions in person\, we will let you know and hope t

 ience.\n\nRegistration:  Class size is limited to ensure safety and an a
 dequate time to deliver content and address questions. Only persons over 1
 8 who have pre-registered for the class may attend.   We will be taking 
 attendance at the beginning of the class and appreciate your cooperation.\
 n\nSafety:   The QPR training teaches a specific suicide prevention fir
 st aid intervention. Some of the content of the curriculum may trigger tro
 ubling feelings and thoughts. The class is not a form of counseling\, the
 rapy or support group. If you are a suicide survivor or have experienced a
  loss by suicide\, we suggest delaying taking the QPR class for at least 
 a year. If you are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide\, please con

 he training:\n\nWe’re so glad we can provide this training to you virtua
 lly\, without the limits of a physical meeting\, however\, we also underst
 and that it can be difficult to be fully present in a virtual meeting. To 
 get the most out of the training and our time together\, we invite you to 
 reflect on these questions prior to our training.\n\n 	What are some physi
 cal needs to care for before and during the meeting? Examples include havi
 ng water and healthy snacks and fidget toys available for easy access.\n 	
 What would help you join the conversation with people you may be meeting f
 or the first time? What would help you share your experiences and beliefs 
 and listen to others?\n 	What would help your focus and concentration?\n 	
 What logistical support can help you be more present? Examples include pra
 cticing a zoom meeting with a friend\, wearing headphones to help you hear
  over other sounds in your physical space\, or checking your internet conn
 ection and strength.\n\nCancellation: If your plans have changed and you
