  Training. In order to take this live\, online training\, you will need a

  prior to the class.   You will need a computer with a web cam or a smar

 venience.\n\nRegistration:  Class size is limited to ensure safety and a
 n adequate time to deliver content and address questions. Only persons ove
 r 18 who have pre-registered for the class may attend.   We will be taki
 ng attendance at the beginning of the class and appreciate your cooperatio
 n.\n\nSafety:   The QPR training teaches a specific suicide prevention 
 first aid intervention. Some of the content of the curriculum may trigger 
 troubling feelings and thoughts. The class is not a form of counseling\, 
 therapy or support group. If you are a suicide survivor or have experience
 d a loss by suicide\, we suggest delaying taking the QPR class for at lea
 st a year. If you are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide\, please

 r the training:\n\nWe’re so glad we can provide this training to you vir
 tually\, without the limits of a physical meeting\, however\, we also unde
 rstand that it can be difficult to be fully present in a virtual meeting. 
 To get the most out of the training and our time together\, we invite you 
 to reflect on these questions prior to our training.\n\n 	What are some ph
 ysical needs to care for before and during the meeting? Examples include h
 aving water and healthy snacks and fidget toys available for easy access.\
 n 	What would help you join the conversation with people you may be meetin
 g for the first time? What would help you share your experiences and belie
 fs and listen to others?\n 	What would help your focus and concentration?\
 n 	What logistical support can help you be more present? Examples include 
 practicing a zoom meeting with a friend\, wearing headphones to help you h
 ear over other sounds in your physical space\, or checking your internet c
 onnection and strength.\n\nCancellation: If your plans have changed and y
