Being Present for the training:
We’re so glad we can provide this training to you virtually, without the limits of a physical meeting, however, we also understand that it can be difficult to be fully present in a virtual meeting. To get the most out of the training and our time together, we invite you to reflect on these questions prior to our training.
- What are some physical needs to care for before and during the meeting? Examples include having water and healthy snacks and fidget toys available for easy access.
- What would help you join the conversation with people you may be meeting for the first time? What would help you share your experiences and beliefs and listen to others?
- What would help your focus and concentration?
- What logistical support can help you be more present? Examples include practicing a zoom meeting with a friend, wearing headphones to help you hear over other sounds in your physical space, or checking your internet connection and strength.
Cancellation: If your plans have changed and you find you are unable to attend the training, please email the Coordinator as soon as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Enjoy the training and thank you for getting trained to help!
