SUMMARY:Older Adult Question\, Persuade\, Refer (QPR) - In-Person
DESCRIPTION:Recent data shows older adults have the highest rate of suicide
  among all age groups in the United States. This skills-based QPR training
  program is designed to enable those who live and work with older adults t
 o recognize suicide warning signs and clues\, and respond effectively.\nPL
 EASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:\nLocation: Washington Street Conference Center\, 
 Room 1220 (102 SW Washington St\, Hillsboro\, OR 97123)\n\nParking: You ma
 y park in the free parking structure attached to the building.\nSafety: Q
 PR teaches a specific suicide prevention first aid intervention. Some of t
 he content of the curriculum may activate troubling feelings and thoughts.
  The class is not a form of counseling\, therapy\, or support group. It is
  up to your discretion to decide whether attending QPR training is ok for 
 you at this time.\n\n\n 	If you are a suicide loss or attempt survivor\, w
 e suggest delaying taking QPR for at least one year.\n 	If you have questi
