DESCRIPTION:Older adult suicide is a major public health problem. Older ad
 ults have the highest rates of suicide in the world. This skills-based tra
 ining program is designed to prepare and enable the those that live and wo
 rk with older adults to recognize and respond effectively.\nPLEASE NOTE TH

 nSafety: QPR teaches a specific suicide prevention first aid intervention
 . Some of the content of the curriculum may trigger troubling feelings and
  thoughts. The class is not a form of counseling\, therapy or support grou
 p. If you are a suicide survivor or have experienced a loss by suicide\, w
 e suggest delaying taking QPR for at least one year. If you are currently
