SUMMARY:Older Adult Question\, Persuade\, Refer (QPR) - In-Person
DESCRIPTION:Recent data shows older adults have the highest rate of suicide
  among all age groups in the United States. This skills-based QPR training
  program is designed to enable to recognize suicide warning signs and clue
 s in older adults\, and respond effectively.\nPLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:\n
 Location: Hillsboro Recovery Center\, Training Room B #1022 (5250 NE Elam 
 Young Parkway\, Hillsboro\, OR 97124) - room directions will be shared in 
 your registration confirmation email\n\nParking: You may park in any avail
 able spot around the perimeter of the building.\nSafety: QPR teaches a sp
 ecific suicide prevention first aid intervention. Some of the content of t
 he curriculum may activate troubling feelings and thoughts. The class is n
 ot a form of counseling\, therapy\, or support group. It is up to your dis
 cretion to decide whether attending QPR training is ok for you at this tim
 e.\n\n\n 	If you have experienced a suicide-related trauma such as a loss\
 , attempt or crisis\, please delay taking QPR for at least one year.\n 	If
  you have questions about whether this class is ok for you at this time\, 
 please email the coordinator (listed below) at least two days prior to the
